Warehouse Supervisor
Pay: £12 - £12.50
Hours: 1PM – 10PM Monday – Friday
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a growing client based at their Wednesbury Distribution Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to further their career in a fast-paced environment.
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating shift warehousing activities, ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met while leading a team to achieve operational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the warehouse team, ensuring they are cross-trained where possible
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and staff performance
- Communicate job expectations and provide coaching to staff
- Assign workloads and determine staffing levels
- Ensure accuracy in shipments and inventory transactions (goods in and dispatch)
- Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with the warehouse manager to adjust processes
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
- Continuously seek improvement in all aspects of warehouse functions
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial
- Previous Stock Taking Experience Desirable
