We have an unrivalled offering of products, a respected brand, and a successful sales team! It’s within this vibrant, busy, Customer Service Team team at Marshalls, that we’re recruiting for a Customer Fulfilment Advisor.

So, what is the role?

In this role you will support both our customers and internal and external sales teams by managing order entry and delivery activity with focused accuracy, ensuring order detail and delivery timescales are met, escalating any on-site issues with customers or hauliers and working to reduce order dispute by supporting completion of orders in line with requested and confirmed delivery dates.

You'll be inputting and managing orders according to channel or product needs and working closely with the Customer Fulfillment and Logistics teams to ensure everyone is happy with the service provided. You'll also confirm and adjust load building to meet on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery schedules and handle any order amendments, making sure any extra costs are flagged to internal sales.

You'll be the go-to person for delivery notifications and making sure everything is in place for smooth offloading at the desired destination.

But that's not all! You'll tackle any delivery issues that arise, working with internal sales and customer fulfillment teams to keep improving our order process. Plus, you'll be the eyes and ears for process improvements, bringing any ideas to your Line Manager to help us keep getting better.

And of course, you'll be ready to pitch in with any other tasks your Line Manager or team needs, providing support and cover as needed. It's all about teamwork, great service, and continuous improvement!

What do you need to bring to the table?
  • Experience within a similar Sales Operations / Customer Service role
  • Eye for detail or critical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritising workload and focusing on key customer requirements
  • First-rate interpersonal skills, understanding internal and external customers’ needs to develop working relationships

Desirable:

ERP use such as SAP, AX or Salesforce, b2b customer service
