Senior, Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing Manager
Experienced Senior Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing Manager, required to take the lead for the delivery of a framework project valuing over £3bn. Main works are due to commence next year, with early works currently underway. This is a negotiated project for a key client with a good pipeline of future works in the area.
Reporting to the board, Contract Directors and Safety Lead working closely with Site managers and Project Managers, you will be responsible for ensuring the project is achieving the businesses and clients Health & Safety standards,The role of Senior Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing Manager will be responsible for leading, supporting and developing the HSEW team. Whilst promoting best practice surrounding Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing standards, assisting with HSEW plans during the planning stages and reporting any incidents/ accidents to the board.
As Senior, Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing Manager you will be number one point of contact for the client with regards to HSEW requirements, therefore you will be responsible for regularly consulting with the client building rapport whilst working together to achieve best practice across the project.
This Senior Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing Manager role is with a busy Tier 1 Contractor, with a turnover more than £400M, with secured workload in the area for the next 12 + years across Hampshire, Dorset, East & West Sussex.
Projects will range from clean water & wastewater treatment projects with the aim to improve & protect environmental standards within the surrounding areas. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HSE Manager looking to work regionally with a proven history of working on similar schemes within the Water industry.
The ideal candidate for this Senior Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing Manager role will be ambitious, organised, hold a NEBOSH Diploma and relevant HND/ HNC with a proven track record working for a similar contractor.
