We are seeking a passionate and innovativeSchool Nurseto join our dynamic team in Merton. This unique opportunity combines traditional School Nursing duties with a dedicated focus on public health improvement.

About the Role:
  • 80% Clinical Practice:Provide high-quality, evidence-based school nursing care to children and young people.
  • 20% Public Health Fellowship:• Undertake a structured 6-9 month work-based program supervised by a Public Health Nurse Consultant.
  • Identify, design, and manage a public health project focused on improving the health and well-being of children and young people in Merton.
  • Collaborate with the CLCH Quality Improvement team to develop and implement your project.
  • Develop your expertise:Gain valuable experience in public health, project management, and quality improvement.
Essential Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with full and current UK NMC registration
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Qualification (School Nursing)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection
  • Flexibility and adaptability in managing a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and evaluate innovative school nursing services.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people in various community settings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the team's and organization's quality improvement objectives.
