Summer Intern Innovation Programme – London

Our internship program blends AI/LLM development, problem solving, and real-time industry application. We will be hiring several interns for this project

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake research projects focused on sector-relevant challenges across financial, investment, accounting, and operational domains.
• Develop a strong understanding of the problem space and underlying business context.
• Formulate proposals, evaluate solution options, and articulate the associated benefits and trade-offs.

• Support the development and maintenance of core platform components and services.
• Assist in building internal utilities and microservices that power platform functionality.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code templates and automation to streamline operations.

• Participate in R&D groups to explore and prototype LLM use cases and tooling.
• Help develop reusable components and improve GenAI integration within platform services.
• Capture feedback and contribute to the design and testing of LLM and prompt-based tools.

• Join code reviews, documentation efforts, and architectural discussions.
• Help identify and fix bugs or inefficiencies in platform code and services.
• Support the creation of onboarding materials and evaluate technical tools and frameworks.

• Work with other teams to share insights and improve internal workflows.
• Attend stand-ups and contribute ideas to enhance Cornspring’s service offering.
• Collaborate across functions to support the broader success of the platform.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

We encourage applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:

1. Excellent proficiency in Python.
2. Good data analysis, data processing and data manipulation skills.
3. Possess experience with LLMs and hands-on knowledge of prompt engineering, AI/LLM libraries, guard railing or fine-tuning beneficial.
4. Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) server environments for model training and deployment with cloud familiarity, particularly with AWS services (Bedrock or similar advanced frameworks).
5. Show evidence of successful LLM project work (academic or professional), including handling real data and delivering measurable results.
6. Thrive in collaborative, adaptable settings, tackling open-ended tasks and pivoting quickly based on feedback.
7. Have the right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the internship
