One of our partnership SEN schools in York are looking for passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team for the new academic year!
The school has fantastic facilities and focuses on a child centred approach to give every child the best opportunity to succeed.
In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:- Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and creative activities
- Support children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Create a safe and fun learning environment for children to reach their full potential.
- Record Assessment of children's learning and development
- Experience working with SEN children in a school/care environment.
- A calm and positive attitude and personality.
- The ability to form good relationships with children and staff.
- Personal care, moving and handling and BSL experience is desirable.
- Full time availability within school hours

In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
