An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 7 Fertility specialist nurse to lead our team at RCHT. You will be providing support and advice for infertile couples and those seeking assisted conception treatments.
The post holder will be responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering high quality care and treatment, giving appropriate specialist advice, and maintaining associated records in accordance with both Trust and HFEA regulations (Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority
This is a full time post, working 37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
To act as an autonomous nurse practitioner within Wheal Unity Clinic.
Working within agreed protocols and guidelines.
To be an excellent clinical role model and to act as an expert clinical practitioner.
To Lead the team on all aspects of management and care provision, ensuring service needs are met.
To perform ultrasound scan investigations, as part of fertility investigations and treatment cycle monitoring.
To communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team, as well as liaison with
The Person Responsible and Lead Clinician within the team.
To assist in the safe, effective, and efficient day to day management of the department within allocated resources
