Requirements
Other duties may be assigned outside of the following duties and responsibilities:
- Support with embedding and development of the Operational Resilience framework
- Own and coordinate the supplier management process, including the onboarding of and in-life management of suppliers
- Own the model governance framework and work with the business to ensure that models are managed in line with the framework
- Work with business areas to ensure that Important Business Services and associated process mapping and self-assessments remain current and maintained over time
- Development and delivery of scenario testing across all Important Business Services and work with departments to develop remediation plans for any vulnerabilities identified
- Develop and own the production of regular Operational Resilience & Risk reporting
- Support with delivering relevant Operational Resilience and Operational Risk training as and when required
- Provide support on incident/risk event reporting and the development of mitigating actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Maintain the internal control framework through coordination and execution of regular control testing.
- Provide guidance and advice to business areas to complete root cause analysis into identified control and process issues and develop effective remediation plans
- Review risk and control MI to identify any potential issues, trends, or common themes and develop actions to address
- Day to day management of our customer journey framework through Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Management, Inventory maintenance, ensuring consistency and approval through weekly SOP meetings
- There may be occasions where you will have to support the wider business upon the request of your manager.

- Ability to identify current or emerging risks and develop appropriate plans to mitigate
- Has excellent written communication skills with experience in professional document writing and version control
- Ability to communicate information in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders
- Has a keen eye for detail with a solution-orientated mindset to support the business
- Ability to engage with and seek input from others to ensure delivery to agreed timescales
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion
- Willingness to learn new processes, and technologies and maintain industry knowledge
- Has the thought process to understand business processes to a level that will support assurance testing and process reviews
- Can solve complex problems and present solutions in a clear way to key stakeholders
- Ability to understand and determine when issues should be escalated to a higher level
- Open to new ideas and change initiatives, with an ability to modify the current approach in the face of new demands
- Strong skills in PowerPoint.
Experience
Must possess required knowledge and/or qualifications so that the essential functions of the job can be performed.- Experience in Operational Resilience and/or Operational Risk
- Experience within a Banking or Financial Services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in financial services operating platforms
- High numeracy and literacy skills
