Stores Supervisor

We’re now looking to expand our team with a highly motivated and experienced Stores Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment. Quite simply, we’re looking for someone whose ambitions match ours.
About the Role:
As Stores Supervisor you will be at the heart of our operation, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials at True Staging. You’ll work closely with our Warehouse team and Purchasing team to ensure that all stock is allocated correctly to projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Stores function
- You’ll be leading from the front, managing a small team of 1-2 staff
- You will be accountable for recording and maintaining inventory lists, checking product codes and reviewing reports
- You will undertake quarterly stock takes
- Allocate stock to relevant projects using a barcoding system
- Assist with the implementation of Stores related projects and improvements
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams
- Maintain a tidy and safe stores environment
What you’ll need - skills and experience:
- Proven experience of working as a Stores Supervisor is essential
- Positivity, vibrancy and ready to take on anything
- Strong knowledge of stores procedures and methods
- Experience using Sage or similar software
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business
- Forklift licence (desirable) - refresher can be given
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday and 2 Saturdays per month: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
