Management Accountant

Your new company

Fully office based

• Creating new suppliers and customers, checking and uploading their invoices to the accounts' system.
• Reconcile all bank accounts, including petty cash and credit cards.
• Manage the invoice factoring facility and employee expenses
• Assist with purchase agreements, loans and supplier contracts.
• Process payroll and supplier payments according to deadlines.
• Setting up payments for wages, dividends, NI & PAYE taxes and pensions and then entering the data into the accounting system.
• Prepare monthly and annual management accounts and tax returns, including accruals and prepayments
• Liaise with accountants regarding tax returns and accounting best practices.
• Monitor the cash flow of the business and make recommendations to the business owner regarding financial decisions such as rate setting and costs to the business and ongoing cash requirements.
• Preform regular ad hoc business information reports and other financial reports and share with the relevant stakeholders.
• Design and implement new accounting procedures/reports to increase visibility, efficiency and accuracy.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA fully qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience.
• Driving Licence.
• Prior experience as a management accountant or working in a similar role is required.
• Experience working with Xero is preferred.
• Communicating in a professional manner with customers and suppliers is essential.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Great attention to detail and ability to manage your own workload.
