The Receptionist is responsible for providing a professional and efficient Reception service for the academy and administrative support. Key duties include answering incoming communications, greeting and dealing with visitors, and ensuring all visitors are recorded, signed in, and issued lanyards for safeguarding compliance.
The role manages the opening, distribution, and franking of all posts and parcels. The Receptionist provides radio contact for the SLT team and assists with general administrative and typing duties to support the SLT or Principal's PA when requested.
Established experience in a reception or customer service environment is essential. You must demonstrate the ability to engage confidently and effectively with all stakeholders, including visitors, staff, students, and parents/carers, delivering a first-class reception experience.
Success in this role demands strong respect for confidentiality, excellent competency in standard ICT packages (proficiency in Microsoft Office is crucial), and the resilience to perform efficiently and effectively while expertly managing multiple, time-sensitive priorities.
Working pattern: 37 hours per week, term time plus 5 days.
