The Opportunity

Join our Rural Team in Yeovil as a Senior Qualified Accountant, where you’ll work with some of our most complex rural clients. You’ll be responsible for delivering technical expertise in accounts, tax, and audits, helping clients navigate the unique financial landscapes of the rural sector.

If you’re AAT-qualified and eager to apply your skills to large, intricate client portfolios, this is the opportunity for you. A background in the rural sector would be fantastic, but it’s not essential—what matters most is your passion for delivering exceptional service.

About Us
At Old Mill, respect, trust, and collaboration form the foundation of our work culture. We’re open-minded, passionate, and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Our supportive environment allows you to develop while making a meaningful impact on our clients and the team.
Requirements
About You
With a solid background in accountancy practice and an AAT qualification, you’re now ready to tackle more complex challenges. Whether or not you come from a rural background, you’ll thrive in an environment that values technical accuracy and strong client relationships.
We’ll support you as you grow professionally and mentor others within the team. This hybrid role, with 3 days a week in the office, offers the perfect blend of flexibility and collaboration.
Benefits

At Old Mill, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and growth:

  • Generous Holiday Allowance – 26 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
  • Celebrate Your Birthday – Enjoy an extra day off to celebrate.
