Finance / Accounts Manager

CNC Recruitment are seeking a hands-on, experienced Finance / Accounts Manager to join our client’s team in Crewkerne – a well-respected engineering company in the Southwest region. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a varied and integral position within a tight-knit admin and operations team.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pmand Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

Start Date: ASAP – Interviews available from next week

• Managing all aspects of the finance function
• Full responsibility for Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Invoicing
• Processing and overseeing Monthly Payroll
• Bank reconciliations and cashflow management
• Working with SAGE accounting software
• Preparing management accounts and reports
• Liaising with suppliers and customers
• Supporting with admin tasks such as planning, sales admin, and answering phones as needed
• Providing general support to the small office team

• Proven experience in a Finance / Accounts Manager role or similar
• Strong working knowledge of SAGE (essential)
• Experienced in purchase ledger, invoicing, and payroll
• Ability to manage a varied and fast-paced workload
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Quick to learn, adaptable and able to multi-task across functions
• Team player with a “hands-on” attitude
• Comfortable in a down-to-earth, industrial office environment

Desirable:

• Experience within the industrial, engineering or manufacturing sectors
• Previous exposure to SME environment.
