SEN Teaching Assistant - Teaching Personnel

About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Your duties will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with disabilities that include but aren't limited to: autism, adhd, SEMH.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Promoting an inclusive and nurturing environment.
- Working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
- A caring and patient approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certificate (desirable but not essential)
- A welcoming and supportive school community.
- Ongoing professional development opportunities.
