Field Service Technician

This role is vital in maintaining their commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
Day to Day of the role:
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support across all product ranges.
- Service, maintain and repair Communication Systems, Fire Alarms and Nurse Call Alarm Systems
- Highlight customer issues and contribute to the corrective actions process, offering feedback on product performance.
- Support the returns process to facilitate product improvements and modifications.
- Promote additional services and products to enhance customer experience.
- Implement strategies to reduce service costs, including reducing parts usage, maintaining correct van stock profiles, and focusing on a high first-time fix rate.
- Provide support for complaint escalations and attend product update meetings and refresher training.
- Collaborate with the Regional Lead Engineer to enhance customer satisfaction, service efficiency, and business profitability.
- Maintain frequent contact with various departments within the company and engage with customers at all levels, including end-users and NHS Trusts.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven customer service experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and communication systems.
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
- Motivated to achieve business targets.
- Self-motivated decision-maker with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills across all media.
- PC literate with good organisational skills.
- Must pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Full driving license.
Desired Skills:
- FIA Unit 5 certification.
- Experience in servicing and maintaining alarm/communication systems.
