Magnus Search are looking for a junior buyer to join a rapidly growing company based in Dunkeswell, near Honiton. This fantastic opportunity is a Full Time Permanent Position where you will be working Monday – Thursday 8am – 5.15pm and Friday 8am – 1pm

As a Junior Buyer your responsibilities will include:
- Purchase components, equipment, and services for projects and customer orders
- Process requisitions and raise purchase orders accurately
- Expedite deliveries and proactively resolve supply issues
- Liaise with internal departments to support production requirements
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Support cost reduction initiatives and identify efficiency improvements
- Monitor supplier performance and suggest corrective actions
- Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and new technologies
- Assist with MRP system development and continuous process improvements
- Support invoice query resolution and ensure purchasing accuracy
To be successful you will need:
- A genuine interest in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
- Strong organisational skills with a logical and detail-oriented approach
- Confident communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build positive relationships
- Previous administration or office-based experience
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to use initiative
- Strong problem-solving skills with a positive approach to challenges
- Reliable, approachable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing deadlines
- Driven to deliver high-quality work and continuous improvement
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
