The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Private Client law, working on Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning. You will provide administrative and legal support, assisting with a broad range of client matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction – Handle enquiries professionally via phone, email and in-person
• Legal Document Preparation – Draft Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate documents under supervision
• Probate & Estate Administration – Support with Court of Protection applications and estate matters
• Case Management – Maintain and update client files using the firm’s case management system
• Land Registry Applications – Obtain office copies and submit simple applications
• Billing & Invoicing – Assist in preparing client invoices and liaising with the Finance Team
• Compliance & Due Diligence – Ensure all SRA and AML regulations are met
• Diary & File Management – Organise meetings, appointments and document filing

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, ideally in Private Client Law
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience using case management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Ability to manage workloads efficiently, prioritising multiple tasks
• Ambition to qualify as a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer, with a proactive learning attitude
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
