We have an exciting opportunity for Ward Host to join our team. As part of the Catering Team, you will be assisting in all aspects of food preparation,Working as part of a team, the post holder will assist with the production, delivery, and service of food to patients, visitors and/or staff. This will include cleaning of areas, equipment and materials used in providing service, operation of dishwashers and other catering equipment and adherence to all food safety policy, procedures, and regulations'.
Applicants should have have a background or experience in hotel or private hospital catering industry
Assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to patients
Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
Maintaining outstanding levels of customer service and safeguarding company assets
General cleaning of the food areas
Have great communication skills with a positive attitude.
Use your initiative, bringing new and creative ideas to how we do things.
Be able to work as part of a team, delivering consistent service even when under pressure
Catering services Royal Free Hospital Private Patients’ Unit
Royal Free Private patients’ unit is managed by the PPU Catering department,Our team consists of 20 staff which include the chefs front of house and the kitchen porters.
We prepare freshly cooked food using the finest ingredients and deliver a high level of service. It’s the small touches that patients expect in PPU, an experience that reaches the standard of a five-star hotel.
