Our client is a well-established, Legal 500 recognised law firm based in Reading.

Job Description

The Senior Paralegal will be involved in the following:

• Handle incoming inquiries, manage client finances, budgets, and fees for experts.
• Make calls to clients and third parties on behalf of senior fee earners.
• Request SAR records from schools and local authorities.
• Draft court forms, Grounds of Appeal, and client correspondence.
• Compile bundles, schedules of documents, and working documents for EHCPs.
• Research, contact, and arrange assessments with experts.
• Manage post-registration appeal steps and draft instructions for experts.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Paralegal should have:

• Proven experience in a legal setting, specifically in SEN law.
• Capable of working independently within the guidelines and instructions provided by senior fee earners.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• High level of customer service proficiency.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in IT with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office.
