About the Support Worker role:
Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour (Enhanced hourly rate on all Bank Holidays)Location: Sandbach
Shifts Available: Days 0800-2000 Nights 2000 - 0800

Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing we are currently recruiting a Support Worker based in Sandbach. We are we are looking for outgoing people who want to make a difference to the people we support. This role is Supporting a male with autism who is non-verbal, has a learning disability and is epileptic.
He can display behaviours that challenge and signs of anxiety and distress. He is unaware of danger and requires support in most aspects of his life. He has a good sense of humour and very much enjoys company. He also enjoys 'people watching', swimming, baking, indoor activities, bowling, going to a 4DX cinema and being a bit of an adrenaline junkie likes going on fairground 'waltzers'!
He goes on the occasional walk as long as it's not too far. He will need support with maintaining his own home, promoting independence and supporting to health appointments.
Applicant requirements: Looking for outgoing people who want to make a difference to the people we support
Knowledge in positive behaviour support, LD, autism and behaviours that challenge would be an advantage, but all training will be givenThe enthusiasm to learn and experience new things
To be willing to embrace the goals he wants to achieve
Someone who will go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package
The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
