RME WHS Project manager High Risk Operations Team
This role involves engaging with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within WHS, RME, and other functions to improve network WHS standards and procedures. The individual will support program execution and collaborate with the WHS RME Regional Manager and Program Manager to develop WHS programs, procedures, training, and manage network projects.
Key Responsibilities Develop strong partnerships with RME and WHS stakeholders for supported pillars.Establish incident investigation, escalation, and reporting processes for timely root cause analysis.Assess risks in maintenance operations, implement reduction measures, communicate policies, and track completion.Review KPIs and incidents to determine need for WHS alerts or safety network actions, and drive content development.Collaborate with High Risk Operations, OEMs, Engineering, and Risk teams on equipment-related incidents requiring design or retrofit solutions.Support RME leadership in enhancing technician engagement and safety ownership, including escalation and peer review programs.

We focus on end-to-end risk reduction, fostering a safety culture through analysis, policy development, and proactive risk management, supporting Amazons operational safety standards. Basic Qualifications Experience in program or project managementAdvanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQLBachelors degree or equivalent as per the European Qualifications FrameworkDegree in safety, industrial or quality engineering, RME, or related fieldsExperience in safety, RME, engineering, quality, or operationsExperience in implementing safety programs like Fall Hazard Control, LOTO, Confined Spaces, etc.
