The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a small team within the department and faculty group, teaching Mathematics effectively at KS3 and KS4.Pupils within the department are prepared for GCSE Mathematics (Foundation and Higher Tiers) and Further Mathematics and other qualifications as appropriate. The post-holder will develop and follow departmental schemes of work and be skilled in the planning and preparation of lessons, as well as the assessment of pupils’ work, in accordance with all school policies and procedures.
The post-holder will report to the Head of Department, Assistant Head (Curriculum) and, ultimately, the Headmaster.
