Shakeii Shakeii is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Mixologist to join our team as a Store Assistant, where you’ll be crafting delicious and healthy drinks while providing exceptional customer service.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation: Develop new and creative drink recipes that align with current health trends and customer preference.
  • Create and Serve Drinks: Create and serve a variety of health-focused beverages, including smoothies, fresh juices, and specialty drinks that delight our customers.
  • Hot Food Preparation: Assist in creating warm, nutrient-balanced dishes.
  • Ingredient Sourcing: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure freshness and sustainability.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide a welcoming experience for customers, offering expert recommendations based on their taste preferences and nutritional goals
  • Quality Control: Adhere to food safety protocols and ensure all drinks meet consistency and presentation standards.
  • Menu Innovation: Participate in monthly menu revamps, introducing seasonal ingredients.
  • Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Training and Assistance: Guide staff in beverage preparation techniques and ensure they understand operational standards.
  • Assist with food and beverage preparation and service.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Passion for health-focused beverages and nutrition
  • Creative flair for developing unique and appealing drink combinations
  • Knowledge of current beverage trends, particularly in the health and wellness sector
  • Experience: Ideally 2+ years in health-focused hospitality, juice bars, or wellness cafes.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of blending, muddling, and infusion techniques.
  • Nutritional Knowledge: Understanding of macronutrients, dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free), and functional ingredients.
  • Soft Skills: Charismatic communication, multitasking in customer facing environments, and creative problem-solving.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a warm, friendly personality
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in mixology, bartending, or related field preferred but not essential - we value enthusiasm and potential
  • Understanding of flavour profiles and how different ingredients complement each other
