Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education? Are you looking to kickstart your career in teaching or support a child's educational journey? We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistants to join our team and work in primary schools across Leeds.
Whether you're interested in a general teaching assistant role or providing specialised support for pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), we have a range of opportunities to suit your career ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support class teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
- Help children with academic work, social skills, and emotional support
- Assist with classroom management and create a positive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to monitor pupil progress
- Support the development and implementation of individual learning plans
Who We're Looking For:
- Graduates who have a passion for education and a drive to support children's learning and development
- A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching or education-related fields
- Ability to work effectively with children, including those with SEND
- Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus, but not essential
