Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to work in the Mental Health Together Medway & Swale service, someone who has a strong sense of initiative and an excellent team working ability.
Mental Health Together has been designed to improve the way people with more complex mental health needs are supported in the community. It provides faster, more personalised care from a single source, ensuring people do not have to engage with multiple organisations for different parts of their support.
Main duties of the job- Support the team to action work requests via generic admin inbox, including processing of referrals on the patient administration system (RiO)
- Preparation of documents to high quality using Word and Excel
- Use of Outlook for updating of calendar and appointments
- Prioritisation and organisation of work and ability to meet deadlines
- Good keyboard skills
- Ability to interact with colleagues and clients courteously
- Accuracy and attention to detail

Detailed job description and main responsibilities- Customer service and communication
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of line manager, colleague or team member, including GP’s for missing information
- Answer calls and enquiries from service users or carers, prioritising urgency and referring to the most appropriate person
- May support reception cover - meet and greet, welcoming visitors and service users in courteous/prompt manner + check contact details up to date.

Essential criteria- Experience in administration and administrative work.
