All subjects within the department are fully resourced; our students enjoy access to three traditional workshops, a graphics suite, two textile rooms, three food rooms and a Design Hub which includes multiple 3D printers and two laser cutters. We have also invested in three new computer suites to develop our teaching of systems, electronics, robotics and computer science. The spaces have been designed with STEM in mind: areas where students can advance their knowledge, develop their practical skills and undertake problem solving tasks which require them to also apply their knowledge of maths and science.
We need a teacher who embraces new technologies and encourages students to immerse themselves; work conceptually and explore extensively in a skilful, knowledgeable manner.
The role will require you to teach computing at Key Stage 3, computer science at Key Stage 4 and also 5.

The team is highly professional, supportive of each other and place great importance on collaboration. It is a growing team with a desire to become even more integrated, with the belief that cross-curricular opportunities will only strengthen the learning experience for all our students.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a high degree of subject competency and personal organisation with a continuing personal interest in, and commitment to Computer Science and Information Technology.
- Demonstrate a real passion for education and a deep-felt desire to make a difference for young people.
- Have the resolve and tenacity to make a real difference to the performance of students.
