QTS Education Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced Special Needs Learning Support Assistant with good knowledge of working with children with various Special Needs.

We recruit for a Provision for children who are currently out of school for a variety of reasons including; Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and Foster Care children.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who are looking for term-time only, flexible working patterns. All roles require transporting children to and from Education Centres and their homes; meaning a full, clean driving license and own transport is essential.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be expected to build a positive relationship with a particular child who you will be allocated to support, and help to build their confidence in order to access Education in a way that best supports their learning.

These children are disengaged from Education and it is essential for them to be able to feel like they are equal to their peers, in order to be integrated back in to Mainstream School.

We are looking for candidates with:

A Full driving license, business insurance and own transport
Experience of working with Special Needs
Confidence in working with students with challenging behaviour
A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning
An understanding of how to establish positive working relationships
Ability to be a patient and positive role model

Available for work immediately

A Full Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Up Date Service would be an advantage, or candidate must be happy to pay towards a new Enhanced DBS Check to be carried out.
