Surveying Project Manager

We are looking for two Surveying Project Managers to join our team and deliver high quality customer focussed services to our homes.

You will be responsible for your own portfolio of projects, managing the day-to-day scoping of works and offering technical support. With project ownership from start to finish, you will survey customer homes and communal spaces and mange issues and queries that may arise from our customers and other stakeholders.

You will also get the opportunity to work on preparation of plans, pre-build meetings, pathology testing and working with our sub-contractors.

Working within tight timelines and within budget, the role is fast paced, challenging, rewarding and delivers job and customer satisfaction. The role requires commitment, accountability, and a can-do attitude.

Don’t take our word for it, hear from our current Surveying Project Manager who joined us earlier this year:

I’ve felt welcomed in a way that has felt authentic since I joined Alliance. Colleagues, both in my team and across the wider business, are very quick to help if I’ve needed guidance. This is very much an ongoing experience.

My manager is always contactable and my close work colleagues are very likeable and ever present. Being in the field for a large part of my working day I feel very much connected to a team still.

In terms of Continuous Professional Development, there is a wealth of knowledge to tap in to, both in terms of our stock but also a deep technical knowledge within my team and across the business. People are very happy to offer their knowledge to help.

Overall, I’m delighted I was given the opportunity to join the Complex Works team.

About you:

You will have surveying experience, preferably in Social Housing.

You can carry out building diagnostics and have a working knowledge of the Schedule of rates. You will have an understanding of root cause and solution for damp and mould and be able to identify Asbestos.

A great communicator, you will be confident in using Microsoft Office and producing clear reports on your findings. Our next Surveyor will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and within budget. Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence is required.

It would be great if you also had:

Additional Qualifications in fields such as fire safety
H&S Qualifications such as ISOH, NCRQ etc

Experience of Planned Works or Void Delivery within Social Housing.
