We are offering a highly sought-after Apprenticeship in Human Resources which will provide you with entry-level HR job experience and a recognised training scheme that will lead to a CIPD level 3 qualification.
The HR Apprentice will work within our HR Operations Team providing an efficient and streamlined service to the RVC with regard to HR-related administrative tasks; the role has a wide remit which includes input into all HR Admin and is an important support role to our customers, both existing staff and new starters.
We are looking for candidates with good people skills, customer-focused and committed to providing professional, accurate and timely administrative support to staff and managers across the RVC. You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, and have good numerical, verbal and written communication skills.As team player, you will need to demonstrate ability to use your own initiative to prioritise work to meet deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure. You will be both flexible and reliable and be comfortable with working with people at all levels as well as managing important and confidential information.
Ideally, you will have some experience of working within an office environment and with IT databases. In return we offer a starting apprenticeship salary of £17,000, day-release to attend college, generous annual leave entitlement, and free use of our on-site Sports and Wellbeing Centre.
