Senior/Principal Civil Structural Engineer - Rullion
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £55,000-£80,000 Depending on experience
Location: Whitehaven/Manchester
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Experience managing a multi discipline team
- Experience on engineering design and substantiation
- Good knowledge of UK and international design codes and industry regulations
- Chartership status or working towards it
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry
- Nuclear industry experience
- Degree in Civils or other relevant engineering discipline
Role information:
- Take an innovative approach to new designs and ideas to provide opportunities for improvements, growth and development
- Develop processes, methodologies and toolsets to optimise efficiency and improve quality of outputs
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders where appropriate
- Be responsible for the delivery of complex design packages
- Oversee and develop other engineers skill sets
