• Provide legal advice and support on construction matters.
• Negotiate, draft, and review a wide variety of construction and associated contracts.
• Develop and maintain legal risk management procedures within the construction department.
• Coordinate with external counsel as necessary.
• Deliver training on relevant legal issues.
• Maintain awareness of changes in construction law and regulations.
• Act as a trusted legal advisor to the senior management team.
• Participate in the implementation of company-wide legal initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel - Construction should have:

• A degree in Law.
• A professional qualification as a Solicitor or Barrister.
• Proven experience in construction law
• Excellent knowledge of contract law, particularly in the context of construction contracts.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• An ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 per year.
• A car allowance of £5,000.
