Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for operational excellence, leadership, and continuous improvement? We're looking for a HR Operations Manager to lead our dedicated team and deliver a high-quality, responsive HR service to staff and managers across the organisation.
Job Description
As a HR Operations Manager:
- Leading and supporting a team of HR Advisors and Administrators to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of core HR services.
- Providing expert guidance on contracts, terms and conditions, and employment policies.
- Overseeing payroll-related HR administration and ensuring compliance with legislation and audit requirements.
- Acting as the point of expertise for right to work checks, immigration processes, and UKVI compliance.
- Working closely with HR colleagues to support organisational reporting (e.g. HESA), Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.
- Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Supporting strategic HR projects and contributing to the ongoing development of policies, systems, and training.
- Proven experience managing HR operations or shared services in a complex organisation.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, payroll processes, right to work and immigration compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team development skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Confidence in working with stakeholders across multiple departments, and representing HR in cross-functional settings.
