Job Description:As a Teacher of Maths at Castle Hall Academy, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students. You will play an important role in helping pupils develop their mathematical skills and confidence while supporting their overall academic progress.
Skills and Qualifications:- A strong understanding of mathematics suitable for teaching KS3 and KS4 students
- Relevant qualifications in mathematics or education (e.g., degree or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements
- Willingness to learn and adapt teaching methods as needed
- Basic classroom management skills
- Commitment to student development both academically and personally
- Patience, enthusiasm, and passion for teaching maths
- A positive attitude towards continuous professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively within the Mathematics department and wider school community
