Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons
- Adapt teaching methods to meet student's varying needs
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants when required
- Manage situations where work isn't set or appropriate
- Provide timely, clear, and concise feedback on completed work
- Create a positive learning environment through effective classroom management
Key requirements for a Key Stage 2 Cover Teacher:
- Valid DBS allowing work with children (DBS application assistance available)
- Relevant qualifications, including a degree and teaching certifications (e.g., PGCE)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) welcomed
- Essential primary teaching experience
