An exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the Capital, Estates & Facilities Management team as its Head of Business Support Services & Lead for the Office of the Director of Capital, Estates & Facilities Management.Working closely with the Director of Capital, Estates and Facilities Management, and the Capital, Estates & Facilities Management senior management group, you will provide an efficient and effective service supporting the Director to discharge their responsibilities.

The Head of Business Support Services will contribute to ensuring that the corporate objectives of the Trust are achieved with specific focus on the development of business systems, and developing and executing cross-divisional strategies across the portfolio of the Director, including the effective operation and management of the Office of the Director.

You will be educated to Masters level with evidence of continuous professional development, including development of your leadership qualities. You will be used to working at committee level with proven line management experience and experience and understanding of corporate governance systems.

To provide an efficient and effective service supporting the Director of Capital, Estates & Facilities Management to discharge their responsibilities, you will work closely with the Director, the wider CEFM senior management team and broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.

The postholder will be highly flexible, able to exercise good levels of judgement and lead complex negotiation across senior stakeholders. The Head of Business Support Services will contribute to ensuring that the corporate objectives of the Trust are achieved with specific focus on the development of business systems, effective operation of services for which they have direct management control over, and will also play a pivotal role in developing and executing cross-divisional strategies across the portfolio of the Director, and including and as the primary function - the effective operation and management of the Office of the Director of Capital, Estates & Facilities Management.

The Head of Business Support Services will provide support to the Director in their day-to-day activities, build collaborative relationships with senior colleagues to help resolve issues and respond to challenges as they arise. The post holder will be responsible for steering, coordinating and delivery of projects as they directly relate to the priorities of the Director and their office.
