Public Health Community Engagement Officer. Multiple locations available - Gloucester, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham

My client is a dynamic national healthcare business looking for an enthusiastic, professional and motivated individual to join their team. This is a job where you will be allowed to work with a good degree of autonomy, using your own ideas and initiative to create opportunities for building & developing relationships with partner organisations, both existing partners and driving new initiatives.

Any knowledge of healthcare, public health or organisations such local authorities, charity & voluntary organisation, primary care/GP clinics, pharmacies etc would be of benefit, but more important is your drive and determination to make a difference, and the ability to foster productive relationships with a wide range of people.

This will be extremely varied, and your work will range from liasing with healthcare professionals to discuss & maximise referrals through to attending community events and meeting families and local communities.

Their work is invaluable and covers a broad range of health improvement and wellbeing services which includes diet and nutrition, stop smoking support, fitness and exercise, mental health support and much more, and they are continually growing and evolving all of these services.
