Engine Rebuild Technician
South Devon + Oversees Travel
Your Package:
• Salary up to £38,000 (nego DOE)
• Overtime at x1.5 base rate
• Travel allowances of £50.00 per day
• 20 days + Bank Holidays

Your engine overhaul key responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for the maintenance of engines, including basic fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Performing large engine overhauls, including head removal, engine rebuild, replacing crank and camshafts
• Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on diesel engine components, including cylinder heads, pistons, connecting rods, bearings, gaskets, and seals.
• Installing and refitting engine components
• You will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding engines to restore optimal performance.
• You'll be in the local workshop and with oversees travel.
You will possess the following:
• Exceptional mechanical engineering skills
• Prior experience performing overhaul, rebuild, and major maintenance tasks on large diesel, gas, or marine engines
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills would be an added bonus
• Ideally, qualified at Apprenticeship, City, and Guilds level
• Be able to work independently and be trustworthy, with a great sense of humour!
