Senior Financial Accountant - Luxury Retail

We are currently working with a Luxury Retail & Wholesale company in Central London who are looking for a new No.1 in finance to manage a team of 4. This role will be reporting into the parent company based in Italy. This company's mission is to create innovative & timeless pieces with stores located across the globe.They are looking for someone with strong leadership skills & the ability to positively shape a small finance team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager in Italy, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of 4
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
- Cash flow monitoring
- Assisting Sales teams with large B2B contracts
- Assisting with budgeting & forecasting
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a Qualified Accountant with experience in a Finance Manager / Senior Financial Accountant role (or similar hand's on finance role) within the Retail / Manufacturing / Wholesale sectors. Experience leading a team is advantageous, but not essential.
What you'll get in return
This company is offering a competitive salary of £65,000 - £70,000 + bonus.
