Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Educational Psychologist 2 - Interims to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with educational institutions to assess and support students with a variety of academic and developmental needs.
Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of effective strategies to enhance students' learning experiences and emotional well-being. We are looking for someone who not only possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills but also has a deep understanding of educational psychology principles and practices.
The ideal candidate will be adept at conducting psychometric assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing direct support to students, teachers, and parents. You will play a pivotal role in fostering positive educational environments and ensuring that all students have equitable access to learning opportunities.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support student learning and development
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive educational environments
Provide training and resources to educators on best practices in supporting students with diverse needs
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies and make necessary adjustments
Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress for each student
Advocate for the needs and rights of students within the educational system
Requirements
Master’s degree or higher in Educational Psychology or a related field
Registration with relevant professional regulatory body
Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents
Strong knowledge of educational legislation and frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams

Proficiency in a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies

Hours Per Week: 37.00

Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 16:30
Pay Per Hour: £54.23
