LGV Class 1 Drivers-
Job description
Rapier Employment are working with a well-established client in Castle Donington who are looking for Class 1 drivers to join them.
Role: Class 1 DriverHours: Start times will vary but looking for late afternoon/night drivers.
Ideal shift patterns:
- Sunday to Thursday
- Monday to Friday
- Tuesday to Saturday
Monday to Friday days £19.00
Monday to Friday nights £20.00
Saturday £21.00
Sunday £22.00
Overtime pay: Time and a half after 43.75 hours
Minimum requirement 4 shifts per week.Minumum 8 hours paid
Role to include, and not limited to:
- Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Deliveries from Castle Donington will be across the South and North of the UK.
- PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, but some store overflow deliveries may be required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
- Always provide exceptional customer service.
- Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving
The recruitment process will involve an initial assesment which inludes, classroom and a 2-3 hour driving assesment. This is then followed by full induction.
Drivers will then be put onto a fixed rota.Requirements:
- Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
- CPC Card
- Digi Card
- Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving
