Consultant Psychiatrist - Forensic Outreach Team

Consultant psychiatrist/ RC for up to 85 outpatients (informal/community treatment orders and conditional discharges) Collaborate with statutory and non-statutory organisations involved in the support and risk management of service users. Participate in section 117 pre-discharge meetings and support service users to make the transition from inpatient to community environments.
Provide consultation, risk assessment and management advice to acute colleagues (frequency about 1-2 per month). Provide excellent clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team to include attending their MDT, crib and formulation meetings.

Deliver high quality efficient and effective care for service users working in a trauma informed collaborative way. Teach, train and supervise junior medical staff and other professionals Comply with the requirements of the GMC and Royal College of Psychiatrists Contribute to the wider functions of the trust including governance, appraisal, quality improvement The post holder will join the Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust general adult on-call rota and will be third on-call.
