Commissioning Manager - Truro
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Commissioning Manager to strengthen their construction team.

Commissioning Manager role:
- You will develop commissioning plans, scale the team as needed, and report to the Head of Commissioning and Operations Manager
- You will oversee commissioning activities for regional projects, ensuring efficient process ownership and handover as teams grow
Commissioning Manager responsibilities:
- Resource forecasting and management within designated regions, with a focus on scaling team size
- Oversee daily commissioning activities and planning within designated regions, including process commissioning and testing
- Build partnerships to ensure smooth asset integration, gain client approval for commissioning plans, and facilitate efficient handovers within agreed service standards
- Develop and deliver training, coordinate supplier training, and gather feedback for process improvement
- Oversee and coordinate off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities and ensure safe and compliant practices
- Ensure timely documentation delivery and collaborate with technical teams for manual production
- Monitor performance, drive continuous improvement, and report on regional outcomes
Commissioning Manager requirements:
- Relevant electrical, mechanical, or process engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Commissioning expertise
- Proven track record in senior leadership
- Flexible to travel within the South West region as needed
