Covering Midlands Eastern region projects this role would ideally suit someone who is based near Derby Cambridge York East Midlands The UK Ireland Quality Team supports Project Delivery across the Business for a vast portfolio of Signalling and Infrastructure Projects Comprises of Project Engineering Industrial and QMS Quality Managers with an interface to Supplier Quality Assurance across the UK with multiple Hub Sites including Hatfield Derby and Plymouth This role will be responsible for supporting assigned projects by coordinating all quality and safety activities throughout the project &ndash Project Quality and Safety Mgr (PrQSM) Tier3 (QC-PR-00 003) Including Gate Review Management Producing Safety Authorisation Reports for Commissioning performing audits managing non-conformance and facilitating Quality Investigations via 8D Problem Solving ensuring Customer Satisfaction and RTF Project Delivery Ulitising Return of Experience to Improve Performance The client Footprint UKI Footprint is expanding rapidly and the teams are growing to support the new projects making it a great time to join our expanding team
Responsibilities&bull Support Project Management Gate Reviews &ndash Learn the client Project Management Process and Tools Ensure Delivery
&bull Create Safety Authorisation Reports to enable Commissioning &ndash Technical Reports Ensure Safety
&bull Lead investigations utilising 8D &ndash Problem Solving Ensure Safety Satisfaction and Cost
&bull Support Customer Satisfaction Surveys and Improvement Plans - Ensure Satisfaction
&bull Support our APSYS Improvement Plan by deploying and improving Processes &ndash Ensure Excellence
Educational Requirements Desirable&bull Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and hold Chartered Quality Professional status
&bull BTEC HNC HND in Engineering Quality Management
&bull IRCA certified lead auditor Experience Mandatory
&bull Experience in managing quality audit and problem-solving tools
&bull Experience in the quality management of construction and infrastructure projects
&bull Supporting the delivery of projects and the supporting of project management teams
Competencies Skills&bull Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools databases and administration skills
&bull Knowledge of Rail Industry practices or other safety critical industry (e g aerospace automotive oil and gas)
&bull Communication knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001 IRIS CMMI ECM ) and quality tools
