About the Role:
We are seeking a Behaviour Coach to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties across a variety of primary school settings. You’ll work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to help children stay engaged in their learning, manage their emotions, and succeed in the classroom.
This is a varied and dynamic role, perfect for someone who is passionate about behaviour support and wants to make a positive impact in different schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural challenges
- Help children regulate their emotions and develop positive coping strategies
- Support classroom learning while promoting a calm, structured environment
- Work proactively with school staff to implement behaviour management strategies
- Build trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Adapt to different school environments and student needs on a day-to-day basis
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone with experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural difficulties (school or youth work experience ideal)
- Calm, empathetic, and able to build rapport quickly
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- Adaptable, resilient, and confident working across different schools
- Passionate about making a difference to young people’s lives
