As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the quality assurance process by developing and executing test plans for our upcoming AAA title. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that all features are thoroughly tested and meet the highest quality standards before release.Your main goal will be to identify bugs and issues early in the development cycle, empowering the team to deliver a polished final product.
Key Duties Include- Collaborate with developers to gather requirements and understand the features being developed
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated tests
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Participate in regular testing and debugging tasks to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Contribute to quality discussions and provide feedback to improve processes
- Stay updated with current testing frameworks and methodologies to contribute effectively to the team
- Support a culture of quality assurance throughout the studio
- Experience in Quality Assurance or testing roles within game development
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and best practices
- Proficient in bug tracking tools and test case management software
- Basic understanding of programming and scripting languages, particularly C++
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Passion for games and a keen eye for detail
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5
- Experience in a continuous integration environment
- Familiarity with performance and load testing
