We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated professional to the role of Assertive Outreach team manager who will be responsible for the operational management of the team and development of services.
This post is a 12 month secondment with a view to it becoming permanent.
The post holder will ensure that all operational staff within the service delivers the highest standard of evidence based practice to service users/carers and ensure the service continues to meet local and national activity and quality targets.Responsibilities will include the management of a busy multi-disciplinary team and developing new ways of delivering services across the Borough.
Main duties of the job
You will be operationally responsible for the day to day management of this team; you must demonstrate a flexible approach evolving around the needs of service users, their families and significant others. You will be responsible for ensuring the team meets the standards expected and delivers a high quality of care.
The successful candidate will be a current band 6 registered Mental Health Nurse / Allied Health Professional within the Rotherham AOT.
