Management Accountant

About Our Client

Our client is an small Housing Association in London. This organisation looks after individuals from less fortunate backgrounds providing quality, affordable housing to them in the city.

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Producing financial reports for key stakeholders
• Supporting the wider finance team with statutory reporting
• Assisting with year-end procedures
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Identifying areas for financial improvement and implementing changes
• Liaising with auditors as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Fully qualified or Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA
• Experience in preparing management accounts
• Strong knowledge of accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work effectively in a team
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Experience of preparing management accounts, forecasts, annual budgets

• A salary of around £40,000 - £45,000 per year
