Senior Process Engineer

PM Group is looking for Process Engineer with Design & Plant-based experience to support a chemical site in Lancashire.
- Responsibilities
- Fast-track development of a brownfield project to get to +/-30% capital cost estimate
- Engineering documentation including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs and / or modifications to existing
- Equipment lists, datasheets & design calculations for new and existing equipment
- Scoping & Pricing equipment and presenting proposals to senior management
- Development of risk assessments.
- Completion of all appropriate safety studies within defined timeframe
- Other tasks in-keeping with the remit of a chemical engineering consultant
- Overseeing the Installation & Commissioning phases
- Qualifications
- Candidates must have proven experience of working as a process engineer primarily in bulk chemicals
- Knowledge of standard industry practices, procedures and safety measures is essential, including a deep understanding of GMP and process safety practices.
- The successful candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to challenge and work with other technical engineers and project stakeholders.
- Candidates should have a degree in chemical engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Experience in process modelling software would be advantageous, particularly Aspen plus.
- This role is believed to be outside IR35.
