Job Description
Key responisbilities of the Accounts Assistant are;- Supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end close processes and reporting
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Carrying out bank reconciliations
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning
- Maintaining an organised system of accounting records
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the finance department
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- SAP or SAGE experience preferred
- A competitive salary within the range of £25,000 - £28,000
