Job Description

Key responisbilities of the Accounts Assistant are;
  • Supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assisting with month-end close processes and reporting
  • Preparing and posting journal entries
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations
  • Processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning
  • Maintaining an organised system of accounting records
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by the finance department

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with accounting software
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • SAP or SAGE experience preferred
