- Pay: £83.85 - £95 per day

Are you a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide 1:1 support to students across primary and secondary schools in Leeds on a flexible supply basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tailored 1:1 support for students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other additional needs.
- Assist with academic, social, and emotional development in line with individual education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to adapt resources and activities for individual needs.
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using effective strategies.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an educational or care setting.
- Strong communication, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to follow directions from teaching staff and SENCOs.
- Experience with interventions or strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or sensory circuits is advantageous but not essential.
- A flexible and proactive approach to working in various school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
